Chatham Craftsman

Located in Encinitas, this Craftsman-style home was thoughtfully expanded into a 10-bedroom retreat, designed to host extended family gatherings and reunions. This was a uniquely meaningful project, completed for the wonderful parents of the two brothers behind Rincon Homes—trusted collaborators with whom we’ve had a long-standing and valued working relationship, having partnered on numerous homes over the years. A classic Craftsman, the home was reimagined to reflect the homeowners’ deep-rooted ties to Chatham, Massachusetts. We blended the warmth and detail of West Coast Craftsman architecture with the crisp, timeless sensibility of traditional Cape Cod design. The floor plan was opened up to enhance light and flow, and the new addition created space for their children, spouses, and grandchildren to come together, connect, and create lasting memories. This project is a celebration of family legacy, regional influence, and the enduring power of thoughtful, personalized design—complete with courtside laughter and pickleball bragging rights.
